How does the lubrication system of open single point high precision punching machine work?

Publish Time: 2024-05-23
The lubrication system of an open single point high precision punching machine is a key component for its normal operation and maintenance of high precision. An efficient lubrication system can effectively reduce friction, wear and heat to ensure the stability and long-term accuracy of the punch press.
Lubrication systems usually include components such as oil tanks, oil pumps, filters, distributors, pipes and nozzles. Its working principle is roughly as follows:
Oil tank: The oil tank is where lubricating oil is stored. Lubricating oil needs to be kept clean and replaced regularly to avoid oil contamination affecting the lubrication effect.
Oil pump: The oil pump is responsible for pumping lubricating oil from the oil tank and transporting it through pipelines to various parts that need lubrication. The flow and pressure of the oil pump need to be adjusted according to the workload and lubrication requirements of the punch press.
Filter: The filter is used to filter impurities and pollutants in the lubricating oil to ensure the cleanliness of the lubricating oil. Filters need to be cleaned or replaced regularly to maintain their filtration effectiveness.
Distributor: The distributor accurately distributes lubricating oil to each lubrication point according to its location and needs. The distributor is usually controlled by a solenoid valve or a mechanical valve, which can achieve timing, quantitative or constant pressure lubrication.
Pipes and nozzles: Pipes are used to transport lubricating oil to the lubrication point, and nozzles are responsible for spraying the lubricating oil evenly on the parts that need lubrication. The layout and angle of the nozzle need to be designed according to the location and shape of the lubrication point to ensure the lubrication effect.
The working process of the lubrication system is: when the punch press starts working, the oil pump starts to draw the lubricating oil from the oil tank, and after filtering by the filter, it is transported to the distributor through the pipeline. The distributor distributes the lubricating oil to each lubrication point at a regular, quantitative or constant pressure according to the preset lubrication program. The lubricating oil is evenly sprayed through the nozzle on the parts that need lubrication, forming an oil film to reduce friction and wear.
In addition, the lubrication system is also equipped with monitoring and alarm devices for real-time monitoring of parameters such as oil level, temperature and pressure of the lubricating oil. When there is insufficient lubricating oil, the oil temperature is too high or the oil pressure is abnormal, the system will automatically alarm and shut down to avoid equipment damage or safety accidents.
